Winter
Will I experience -40 below weather ? In December , January , February , Alaska's interior experience some very cold temperatures which can last up to 3 weeks . The average cold spot is more like few days at the time .
Winter Packing list
We provide cold weather gear for all the winter tours . You will need , warm pants , sweaters (polarfleece recommended) , warm underwears , gloves , hat ,headlamp , flashlight .
Summer
What about the Mosquitoes ? We have mosquitoes in June and July , August is fair . We use insect repellent with DEET , it is the most effective against mosquitoes .

Kennel
Do you know all the Dogs name ?Yes , we do . We spend a lot of time with them , training , feeding , playing . So , from puppy to their old age they are part of the Family .
Lodge
What are the accommodations like ?
For the time being , we have 4 bedrooms . 2 with private bathroom and 2 with a share bathroom . One bedroom with private bath has 2 queen size beds , 1 bedroom with share bath has 2 full and 1 twin beds .The others 2 have a queen size bed .For convenience , each bedroom has is own vanity .
The Lodge is a "Rustic" log house , with log furniture hand-made by us .
How do I get there ?
The Lodge is a quarter of a mile off the main road of Alaska , the Parks Highway . It is located at mile 329 ,( 25 miles from Fairbanks) ,there are signs on the sides of the road .
If , you don't have a vehicle , we can provide transportation for a 25$ fee round trip.

40 below isn't so bad if you are inside a cozy lodge!
